This is a question for anyone that has moved from Wichita to KC or really anywhere in Missouri. Did you regret moving? I live south of Wichita but I have thought about being closer to KC for better job opportunities. Wichita seems like it's very limited. Please let me know about your experience.

Wages are probably higher in KC but there should be jobs in Wichita. Despite inflation and a completely unreasonable housing market there seems to be jobs all over the country in all sectors of the economy. I'd move to KC because it's more green, more hilly, more culture, better restaurants, more to do and because it's basically better than Wichita in all aspects. Have lived in both cities.

It depends on your skill set and what industries you want to be connected with to ensure financial security.

Moving from Wichita to Kansas City or further east can bring about various changes in terms of wages, cost of living, and overall lifestyle. Here are some considerations:

Wages: Generally, wages in larger cities like Kansas City tend to be higher compared to smaller cities like Wichita, especially in certain industries or professions. However, this can vary depending on your field of work and level of experience.

Cost of Living: The cost of living in Kansas City is typically higher than in Wichita, especially when it comes to housing, utilities, and transportation. However, compared to even larger cities further east like Chicago or New York City, the cost of living in Kansas City may still be more manageable. https://fmwa.dev/

Quality of Life: Moving to a larger city like Kansas City or further east can offer a wider range of amenities, cultural activities, dining options, and entertainment opportunities. However, it may also come with drawbacks such as heavier traffic and a faster-paced lifestyle.
