Hi folks, need some recommendations on dentist near Nocatee. Many dentists are money-driven nowadays...Thanks in advance!

I go to Dr. Yoder at Palm Valley Dentistry. He's not far from Nocatee, located at the roundabout on Palm Valley Road by the Publix. Dr. Pucillo is in the same office and she's wonderful, as well.

But I've also heard great things about Dr. Lovelace at Lovelace Family Dentistry. He's located right inside Nocatee in the Valley Ridge Professional Park.

I've heard both Yoder and Lovelace are good on Nextdoor (PV area). I've been with Dr. Bolton (Ponte Vedra Dental Group) in PVB for about 5 years now. No complaints there:

Reviews mean less than nothing. I went to a dentist with many 5 star reviews and I was not at all happy with the quality of my dental care. Its taken me years to get everything right again. I now go to fantastic dentist in PVB and my care is the gold standard and he has just a couple of reviews.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. We gave up on a dentist we went to for a few years (Carlson Dental) who always and I mean ALWAYS over charged us for any/every service. So much so that it almost seemed as if that was normal business practice for them. Not to mention they seemed to have a new dentist every time we went, so I think it was more of a dental internship type place where new dentists would go and get experience. They have 4.4 stars on Google, which is laughable.
I went to another dentist (Johns Creek) based on good reviews and got a crown. I've had a few other crowns in my life and never have I been in so much pain/discomfort as I was both during the procedure and after. Going back he admitted he left too much glue on my gums and I had to suffer through 10 minutes of him scraping off that glue with a steel pick without novocaine. Also unresponsive after over charging us by almost $300 after repeated attempts to reach them. 4.6 stars on Google.

I would rather not. Just a point of information, I went to a Endodontist who recommended extraction of 2 of my front teeth because of resorption. I would need implants, running the cost to around 7-10k. I declined, and during a trip to Colombia, South America, I went to another dentist who sent me to an Endodontist who did 2 root canals on those 2 teeth for $300. Much of the dental work I have had done here and in WNY was substandard. I have had 8 crowns replaced and 7 root canals just to get things back to normal. I went to 2 terrible dentists there, before finding a fantastic one.
