[quote=Positiveone;66680862]Being St John’s county is so close to the water are you in a flood zone?
Do you get hit often or need to evacuate during hurricanes?
Thank you

Our neighborhood is in a Flood Zone X which means NOT a flood zone. Never say never, but the app on my phone says my driveway is around 40' above sea level which is practically a mountain top here in FL.

We've been through 3 minor hurricanes. The wind blows and it rains sideways but nowhere near a dire enough event to feel a need to pack up and leave. If we were to get a full on hurricane event, we certainly would leave the area for safety reasons.

As the crow flies, we're about 4 miles from beaches.
