AMARILLO, Texas — A federal judge on Thursday temporarily blocked the Biden administration from ending a Trump-era policy requiring asylum-seekers to wait in Mexico for hearings in U.S. immigration court.

Good news! Thanks to that judge who did the right thing. Let's hope that this Title 42 policy remains in place for good!

What is to stop Biden from getting another judge to over ride that judge?

That not how to works. The Biden administration has to appeal this ruling before anything else can happen. Basically, its just going to keep getting blocked and there isn't a thing he can do about it. SCOTUS will just kick it back to lower courts like they did last time.

It is not “our” legal system anymore. It is not “our” immigration control system anymore. We have no control over it anymore. And once they take away our guns is when it is finished.
To think they call us extremists if we don't agree with them on this absurd policy.

Which is more extreme — having an open southern border that allows hundreds of thousands to enter the country illegally, some with deadly fentanyl pills and other drugs, or finishing the wall and allowing for their processing at established entry points?

The wisest, most shrewd aspect of 'Remain in Mexico' is that it ensured Mexico share the burden of the invasion. Instead of permitting Mexico to dump the caravans on the US. Mexico had to experience some of the pain of caring for in-transit asylum seekers, which compels them to come up with a more secure & humane system.
Mexico was forced to house in-limbo asylum seekers, instead of American states & cities. So Mexico made a more sincere effort to block northbound caravan & cartel pipelines.

Now that Biden has burdened America with millions of asylum seekers loose in the US, Mexico is no longer incentived to help corral the situation. Mexico is not being compelled to help..

Why Mexico won’t secure their border ?
