Any word on when CityCenter at Big Springs will actually get under construction? The fence has been up for awhile but nothing seems to be happening beyond that. This $70 million development looks like a real game changer for downtown (should it ever get built).

Also according to him, Town Madison activities and design are in place and Environmental Assessment is still holding it up as it did for Zierdt Road. When we are given a go for interchange construction, we should hear some news.

CinePlanet Theater is Restarting Construction:
Consolidated Construction submitted all required information to reactivate their building permit for the movie theater. We should see activity at the site very soon. Structural “enhancements” to the masonry walls will happen first. Some of the exterior sheathing that has been exposed to the weather will be removed and replaced. From there, the project will proceed, assuming the owner, contractor and design engineer remain in agreement. Perhaps it could open prior to the Thanksgiving/Christmas season.
