I find it funny that this article lists WVU first in a sentence about a new facility being built IN Huntington ON Marshall's campus. Not to mention the fact that the new Cyber Security center will be huge for the area and state and it barely merits one sentence. Can you tell where this news service is based out of?

The new helicopter for the aviation school arrived yesterday and there are already plans to add another mid-sized helicopter. It has been amazing how quickly the aviation school has taken off (pun intended).

Marshall and a variety of university and government officials broke ground this afternoon for the new Institute For Cybersecurity. There's a ton of awesome stuff that came out of this. This is gonna be awesome for Marshall and the city, and is going to be huge in getting people to locate to the area and keep people here.

Super excited about the CSC and the entire innovation district. I can’t wait to see something go in on that southwest corner of 16th street and 4th Ave as that has just been a parking lot for such a long time. As you said, it really has the potential to be a game changer for Huntington.

Here’s another article about the CSC. Some interesting take away, Brad Smith indicated that the building could end up taller than 4 stories. Hopefully that’s because there’s a lot of interest from companies for space rather than property owners not selling for the other planned buildings. It’ll also be interesting to see what goes in on the bottom floor. Husson’s had been in the old building and planned to renovate and reopen until it was clear MU was going to tear the building down. Hopefully they can get something new to the area that will appeal to students and residents. I also find it interesting with WVUs involvement in this groundbreaking. Gordon Gee mentioned that WVU is building their own center but notes that it will be much smaller than Marshall’s. I wonder if they’ll invite Brad Smith up to their ground breaking?

It looks like the question of what’s going in on at least part of the bottom floor has been answered. The family that owns La Famiglia will be putting in a Mediterranean Market called Via Lombarda. It looks like they will have a market and cafe based on the background that they used on their Instagram post. Hopefully they will work hard to make their offerings affordable for the market and cafe so that students and residents can patronize the store. I think only going for the high end market would be a detriment to the amount of business that they could do.
