Believe it or not we're getting closer to a new season.
In the meantime, the expansion draft is tomorrow and the entry draft is Friday. If you are in the States don't tune into NBCSN for either, yep, ESPN is showcasing both events.
Some interesting transactions so far. Predators and Flyers completed a trade centered around Ryan Ellis and Nolan Patrick, the Preds then flipped Patrick to the Golden Knights for Cody Glass. Several notable players like Carey Price, Josh Bailey, and Max Domi among others are "exposed" for Seattle if they want them. And future transactions like a potential Eichel trade loom large, also Seth Jones and Vladimir Tarasenko could be dealt this summer.
I think this is poor choice. Bergeron, and Marchand are getting old, so all you have is Pastrnak. If the Bruins can sign Eichel, but I doubt, they be fine. Otherwise Hall will never play for the cup like he wants.
I feel sorry for Taylor Hall. He moved around so much looking for that elusive playoff berth. It seems every team he plays on sulks when he gets there. It happened even with Jack Eichel, and Jeff Skinner.
He getting old, has some injuries, and goalies are temperamental.
Montreal has a history of signing great goalies to monster deals leaving them unable to sign great skaters. That is why they stink for so long.
Only reason why Montreal made to finals this year is because of the messed up brackets.
Old? He's 33, in the prime of his career. I think Fleury was the same age when Vegas took him in the draft.
I could see his lack of success in the playoffs, but usually an experienced goalie is ideal for expansion clubs. He is also coming off a decent performance in the playoffs. Can't blame him the Habs lost the Cup. It's what you said, a lack of great skaters.

Hey Canes; good luck with Tony DeAngelo! Potential locker-room problems likely.
Conor McDavid is soon going to get fed up too. Not getting anywhere in playoffs has got to be annoying.
If Winnipeg can load itself up, surely Edmonton can. And most definitely Montreal can. Its a great city. Anyone want to play there.
Buffalo, poor Buffalo. Jeff Skinner is waving his no trade clause. He wants out too.
Connor McDavid must like losing. In 2017 he signed an extension that takes him to 2026.
