Since the idiots that left them behind (how did they not do a head count?) depend on the tourism trade, I highly doubt that was their goal. Dream on OP...

I'd think a couple well written articles about all the raw sewage spills in or near their favorite area might deter a few tourists.
Ala Wai canal, small boat harbor, oh my, near Waikiki ? Hilo Bay, oh, brown water ?
Wasn't it Kauai most recently ?
but the water looks good, have a nice swim

I'm wondering how many snorkelers were on this tour, since no other clients on the boat noticed them missing either. This suggests a fairly large group, or perhaps several unobservant people.

Left behind in the waters off Lanai on their honeymoon-jeez!
