I won a Winchester SX4 auto loader 12ga last night at a Ducks Unlimited banquet. Anyone handle one? I read it’s a Browning Gold clone. I have a Browning Silver and love it.
I plan to have this one modified to fit my daughter.

Almost bought one. My decision was between a Franchi Affinity and the SX4. I bought the Franchi due to an amazing sale price (and it’s been perfect - zero issues), but I’m sure I would have been very happy with the SX4.

Link didn't work.
Well we'll find out how this thing shoots when the sporting clays range opens, lol.
Doesn't it have the same gas operating system as your Silver? If it does then the transition should be almost seamless.
I had to take a SX3 apart for a guy and it matched up to my Silver as far as the mechanics went.
From what I read online it shares the basic operation as the the Gold, Silver and Maxxus, depending on who you read. I’ll know soon I go pick it up tonight.

It is exactly like my Silver. Carbon copy. The gas piston ring may be a different diameter but for all intent and purpose it is the same.
