I know that feeling. We had the same issue with our grandparents as well. It always took a lot of arguing to make them go out and participate in something (be it bingo, senior afternoons, ...). The easiest way always was to tell them that their grand children will come for a walk

She’s the built in baby sitter for one grandson and has been most of his life. The other grandson is 600 miles away and not likely to visit often since the sisters are on the outs with each other.
