There’s a super interesting build project currently in Northwest Fort Worth called North City Fort Worth.

Is it going to be like Frisco Legacy and bump up home values here? Is this going to be a hot area?

I am hopeful that some development could certainly make the area more visually appealing. I have been driving through that area my entire life as it is the route between Eagle Mtn Lake area (where I grew up) and Wise Co (where gparents live). Hopefully they plant some trees along with all the roads and concrete!

This isn't really what most people would call "northwest" Fort Worth (ie Azle, Lake Worth, etc). This is at the 35/287 interchange due north of downtown. It's fun to think that this will look like Legacy, but that area is already chock full of the standard suburban sprawl development. I'm guessing that is what the bulk of this ends up being.

Unfortunately the area has not developed the massive amount of White collar jobs like the legacy area to look like that. However this would be a great addition to the area and possibly develop and attract more job types and maybe more white collar jobs to the area. Also that area so far has been much in developing infrastructure for growth.

This will be a good step forward for Ft.Worth. I think this development would be even more urban if they replaced those huge parking lots with smaller parking garages to make it more walkable.

More of this is needed throughout Fort Worth.

This really slipped under the radar in terms of Greater DFW developments. While nothing like Legacy Plano (which has over 33 million sq. ft. of Office Space across 2,700 acres) and their website sucks, it's a nice looking project from what I can see.

If my math and vision are correct looking at the site plan, it could have nearly 2 million sq. ft. of Class A office space. Besides Trophy Club, I can't think of any other single project in the past few decades on that side of the Metroplex to feature so much commercial office space, campuses for Alcon, American Airlines and Bell Helicopter notwithstanding.

The million dollar question, as someone else said, is if they can successfully attract white collar employers. If successful, it could be a catalyst for Fort Worth attracting more developments like it.

This project would have made more sense if it was located in the portion of Keller ISD that feeds into the city of Fort Worth. Corporations tend to like to locate in areas with good school districts. It would make sense to zone areas that meet the criteria I mention for mix use developments to lure white collar jobs.

The location actually makes sense because it is between 35 and 287, two very major highways.
