it helps to have them in a group, they will fight among themselves rather than picking on others

yeah. The Serpaes look like a bunch of Piranhas.

The long fin tetras look great in large groups too.

so do cardinal and neon tetras. Ever seen 30 or so cardinals swim across a 100 gallon tank? pure beauty.

as soon as I get a better place for my turtles I am converting me 125g back into an amazon tank.

My angels need more space than the 65g is providing right now

one of my absolutly favorite tanks ever was a 500gallon custom planted with snakeskin discus and a combination of 50 cardinals, 50 glowlights and about 25 cherry barbs...along with a couple of sydontis catfish and some realy pretty killifish, it was absolutly stunning.

OH my God, I wish I could afford a 500g tank.

I love discus. I think they are so cool. But I am so scared of trying them out.

although I have been raising fish for over 15 years now, I am my no means an expert and don't think I could keep those buggers alive.

They are so delicate.

My tanks are planted tanks so they take care of themselves. all I do is add food, and turn on and off the lights.I don't have the time to be messing with pH and all that other stuff for discus. But I do wish I could keep some.

I have never keep killifish but they are so pretty.
My old fish store in San Antonio had really pretty Sydontis cats for cheap. I think I will by two when I set up the bigger amazon tank.

The problem with the bigger tanks is that they take so darn long to cycle, and I hate looking at a tank with no fish

The pictures posted so far are really nice! I don't have any recent pictures of my tanks, I should take some more.

I love planted tanks but cannot keep an amazon sword alive, yours looks good.
I will take some photos of my aquariums & will post some if they turn out ok.
