I saw several people taking photos Sunday night (it was around -24 degrees). But I didn't go out Monday because it was too cold. When I looked at the thermometer outside my house at midnight it was -30 degrees.

I was wondering if anyone got photos. Sunday and Monday nights gave quite a show! Homer was lucky enough to have clear skies so I could watch it too. There was moonlight but the display was still intense. We don't get the colors you folks farther north do but the display spread all across the sky for hours. Large slow drifting bands layered over quick pulsing flickers. Worth the shivers!
