I'm retired. Usually around 10:30 I'll head out, three days a week.

FWIW: If I had it to do all over again I would have selected an occupation the gave me steady hours and did not require travel. I enjoy being in great shape now, but I wish I had started long ago.
Onward and Upward.

When I first joined the gym I went in the morning, but as time went on I started working out later in the day and now usually workout around 5 pm except on Saturdays when I go in the early afternoon and on Sundays even earlier because the gym closes at 3pm on Sunday.

I'm guessing that the people who go to the gym so early do so in order to get their workout in before going to their job. Yes, No?

Originally, yes. However, after a while I've come to enjoy the morning jolt to my system by lifting weights early in the morning. It clears my head, wakes me up and puts me in a good mood for the day and honestly I enjoy the morning crowd far more than the afternoon crowd. The morning folks are generally in and out so they won't hog machines and are less likely to be in there to socialize (there are exceptions of course).

Oof. Not sure I could do that and hold myself together enough to feel like I got a workout. I usually go at nine or 10.
