Wisconsin voters on Tuesday night approved two Republican-backed measures that will change the way elections are run in the pivotal battleground state.

A majority of Wisconsin voters supported a state constitutional amendment to prevent local governments from using private donations to fund the administrative side of elections. They also voted in favor of a rule that prohibits anyone other than election officials from performing election-related duties.

Republicans have championed the amendments as methods of decreasing outside influence on the state’s elections. Meanwhile, Democrats have opposed them, arguing they lead to unnecessary ambiguity for election officials, especially as they have struggled with resources in recent years.

Fantastic. No more election interference from Big Tech in our Presidential elections, at least in Wisconsin. It just got harder for the Democrats to rig 2024.

Default Wisconsin voters approve constitutional amendment banning 'Zuckerbucks'

all states should follow their lead.

Quote:
Wisconsin voters on Tuesday approved two constitutional amendments to tighten election integrity in the Badger State.

The first initiative would ban the private funding of elections while the second would restrict election administration to "only election officials designated by law," according to the New York Times.

Private funding of elections has attracted considerable scrutiny from conservatives since the 2020 presidential contest. Such donations earned the nickname "Zuckerbucks" in reference to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, who made many such contributions in that cycle.

Well, you would have voted against both ballot questions because that's what the Democrats wanted. And you would have lost.

A good sign for Trump winning Wisconsin again in 2024.

Nice try at diversion. There is a difference between contributions to various candidate’s election campaigns, and the billion or so that Zuckerberg and Bloomberg dumped into the mix during the 2020 elections. Their pot of money was earmarked for “voter education”, however anyone but a fool could see that it was used to buy votes in key battleground states.

Kudos to the Dems for their tech team that pinpointed where the funds should go for the best effect. They won the gig for Biden and forever lost the trust of half the electorate.
