Not another one...

Who would have thought that priest attacks would become a kind of "thing" in this crazy 21st century?

Catholicphobia is on the rise. Why isn't Trudeau saying anything about it?

Maybe he didn't or still doesn't know about it? This incident in Edmonton happened 2 weeks ago on March 13th and today is the first time I've heard anything about it. I'm thinking this information has only just recently been released.

There is more ..... on March 24th there was another similar attack on a priest at a Catholic parish in the town called Vermilion, 190 kilometres east of Edmonton. Today's the first I've heard of that incident too.

Here's more information about both incidents.

According to the article, the guy in Vermillion just wanted to hug the priest.

Yeah, I think rushing a priest, laying hands on him and knocking him back against an alter is the wrong way to ask a priest for a comforting hug. It's still a rough assault and the addict could have injured the priest even if he meant the priest no harm. There is no excuse for it.

Mod cut: Orphaned (quoted post deleted).
