Thanks for the info, nuts! I guess I'll just have to stick with my wine and craft beer festivals this fall and make due. That was such a fun event though at the Rudder.

rdlr--Jesse Garon is a good Elvis impersonator in Bethany. He was at the bandstand this summer. I used to know his brother.

What do you mean by best? What do you think is important in terms of a restaurant?

I believe there was public restrooms in Dewey, but no longer there. They used to be next to the lighthouse, attached to the old row of stores. In which neither exist anymore. Unfortunately, only that ugly hotel.....

My 2cents......Something fishy in Dewey pertaining to that lighthouse burning down. Someone wanted that landmark of a lighthouse gone.

And Read Ave. is lately flood prone. Dewey is getting ready to do something about it.

Will storm water flaps work?

https://www.wrde.com/news/continued-...6cd49ff7d.html

Quote:
The town says it is looking to install flaps on the end of the storm water pipes on Read Avenue to push water out to the bay.
Jersey Street, a few blocks of where Route 1A shoots off Route 1 to head into Rehoboth Beach city, has a similar problem.

Quote:
The town says Jersey Street is another problem area because it says rainwater sits on the streets for days. The town says it is looking for solutions to this problem because there are currently no storm drains on Jersey Street.
