That is pretty cool. Thanks for the explanation.

Pretty small, just slightly larger than my hand, and very fast. It has a flight time of about 7 minutes, and this style of Multirotor is typically used for racing.

It's an RC Aircraft by the standard definition, similar to a radio-controlled helicopter, just with more rotors.
That's really cool! Amazing the kind of stuff something like that can do. Did it take much time to build it?

It took about a month, not so much because it takes that long, you can build one in a weekend... it was more ordering and waiting for all the parts. All told, it's probably an $800-$1000 project if you're starting from scratch, maybe a little more. The video receiving equipment and radio are large expenses, but these can be used for many aircraft, so they're one-time purchases.

That doesn't sound too bad at all. I can't imagine how fast these kinds of devices would go if they made it more into the mainstream supply chains of places like Cabela's, Field and Stream... even Target. Merchandisers out there should take note.

Possibly this:

In the blue bar above the forum posts: [ QuickLinks ] >
.................................................. ........................... [ User Control Panel ]

In the left pane: [ Settings and Options ] --> [ Edit Options ]

In the [ Thread Display Options ] panel you'll find the box:

+---- YouTube Settings -------------------------------------------------+
| .................................................. .............................[ drop ]...|
| Make YouTube links in my posts into videos:..............[ down box ]
+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+

My dropdownbox says "Yes." Does yours say "No?"
================================================== ==========
On an unrelated note: Everyone should look at their settings. For instance, City-Data defaults to 10 posts per page. If you are following many posts in a thread, it is less tedious to have a setting of 40 posts per thread. I've turned many a person on to that bit.
