Tesla gives you fairly loud warnings (and shaking) if it senses you are trying to drive into a wall or off the road just in case driver is falling asleep. Of course it will still let you drive off a cliff or crash as right now the driver always overrides the car controls.
It also applies last second automatic emergency breaking during a collision, but the driver can override that too. You can also turn it off in settings.
