We recently sailed on a 7 day Caribbean cruise on the Celebrity Ascent. Below are our impressions:
Ship - beautiful, new ship, tastefully decorated. The pool area seemed crowded, but other than this area, the size of the ship seemed fine for the number of passengers.
Food - good, liked that they had 4 main dining areas to choose from. Some of the dishes could have been better, but overall good.
Service - outstanding, among the best of any ship we’ve been on
Entertainment - some performances were good; unfortunately one was not as good.
Excursions - one we liked and one not so much.
Overall rating: 4 out of 5 stars
Would we sail again with Celebrity? Absolutely, in fact, got 2 others planned. The level of service was exemplary. Great price/value ratio.
