My friend just moved to Corpus Christi from Dallas after her husband suddenly died. Her brother in law offered to take her dog in since her rental doesn't allow pets. She could not find a place that allowed pets and she had to move quickly, she is disabled and also has a son she is caring for. It is a very difficult situation for her. Now the brother in law doesn't want to take care of her dog. His daughter has a dog and they don't want them together so its been too much of a hassle.

The dog is docile, senior 11 yrs old, hound/pitt mix and very friendly. Has never been aggressive and mostly just likes to lounge around. She is beside herself because she is like me and views her pet as family where the brother in law is saying just euthanize because he is a senior. There is nothing wrong with the dog except a little arthritis.

If anyone knows a no kill place to help, please let me know. Thanks.
