My only experience are one's used for conference rooms where you may want to situate the camera further away to get a wider angle.
I think the use case for standard videoconferencing use just isn't there. Especially when you consider a higher price point since it'll likely need a battery as well as networking capabilities (bluetooth may not be adequate enough).
And since you'll still need a phone or computer anyways as the conferencing application (Teams, Zoom, etc.) is needed... it sort of defeats the purpose to have it wireless. Again, there are always exceptions like conference rooms or for streaming/video production purposes.

Battery life and connectivity would seem to be a major issue with a "wireless webcam". Also, seems like such a thing would be used for nefarious purposes (i.e., sneakily recording someone without their knowledge).
