I misread the article when they said "tower". I was really hoping for a taller building. 7 stories is actually smaller than the existing building on that site. There was a proposed 40 story tower on this site back in 2008 by the same company but it later folded.

It seems like this would be a prime location that could support a taller building like Hartford 21. They could get top rents there too. Jay

Looks like the Baseball Park has a sponsor, Dunkin Donuts. Should be good to have such a well known sponsor part of the project. Jay

Looks like there are new owners of Goodwin Square. This is great news for downtown since the hotel has been vacant for several years and the rest of the building has been under-utilized as well. I just hope the new owners can get it back to what it once was. Jay

This is good news too. It shows there is interest in Hartford from outside investors. Jay

Many NY investors are interested in Hartford. 100 Pearl Street was also purchased by NY investors and I believe the Stilts Buildings was as well? CityPlace II will eventually hit the market as well.
