I'm seeing more and more of them, but mostly outside. There have been a few in the house, but unless they're landing on my nose, I just ignore them.

That said - as I was pulling veggies out of the 'fridge earlier ... there was a dead moth in the veggie bin! At first I thought it was a scrap shaped like a moth, because I didn't have my glasses on. Got a better look at it, and yes indeed, it was a moth. I'd like to know how and why it landed in my refrigerator. That was a bit gross.

The season has certainly gotten underway now, although it has been about two or so weeks since the moth migration was first reported in the news. I had one in my bathroom just now, though I couldn't kill him, and my stepmother killed one yesterday morning. I also saw one near the bathroom at my job.

I do miss those miller moths.

My little mini-dachshund Lillie loved to scarf them down!

No sign of them yet in the Fountain area.

I've seen one--so far--here in Nebraska but it's still early. There will be millions of them come August.

A few fluttered out of plant pots as I was cleaning my potting bench today. I didn't know we were going to get them this year.

The cat I'm fostering can see the tiniest bugs and tries to catch them. Her hearing and eyes are incredible. I can't wait to see what she might do if any miller moths gets in the house. Should be entertaining.

I killed a third moth last night. Still not as many as last year.
