Tiffany Lamp marking ? (chess, best, bit)

We have what my Wife's family has always stated was a "Tiffany" Lamp. It is of good size, does have a stained glass shade. Are there any specific markings to show it is actually a "Tiffany" lamp ?. Sorry, no picture, the darn thing is packed away. When we decide to move, we will study it a bit when we get to it.

Many people call any stained glass lamp a "tiffany lamp", mostly because they don't know any better. There is even a brand (Dale Tiffany) that many people think means that it is an authentic Tiffany.

This is most likely the case. We just want to be sure of what we have before we donate it.
