Are there many retired couples living at Spring Creek outside Charlottesville Va? If so, what is the community like? Is it easy to meet people as a newcomer,

I think you would find a number of retirees that are selling in Nova and buying out there. Seems like a ton of money to be 20 miles from Charlottesville and 60 miles from Richmond. That Walmart is below par, and I know some who drive farther to go to the one in Ruckersville. For less money you could buy at Forest Lakes, off 29, near CHO...Most would find that far more convenient...or even Keswick. Water rates are higher in gordonsville than quite a few desert communities..not sure how much of spring creek is considered gordonsville, but I would look into it.
