Despite your infantile response, I'll answer. No one is watching me use the bathroom. It amazes me the frequency of visitors to our wonderful city who take issue with some ludicrous thing and blow it out of proportion.

Don't like it here? Fair enough. Go somewhere else. We'll survive.

This one thing told me all I need to know about Charleston politics. If I were contemplating a move there, this one thing would cause me to remove it from my list. Y’all are way too woke for me.
Don't look now, but the city also removed a statue of John C. Calhoun from Marion Square and is building a new Black history museum.

NBC National News just now: Charleston and Myrtle Beach (no use of “South Carolina” in the report) cited as cities that airlines have added to their direct flight schedules for post-COVID travel

NBC Nightly News this evening reporting about protests for George Floyd: “protests from Portland to Charleston.”

No state name necessary. Charleston as a no-state-name-needed city in national media reports is gaining traction. It must be all those Good Morning America and Today spots.

I think in this case there was less of a need to reference the state since Charleston has been in the news for similar local incidents over the past couple of years.

Okay. I’ll be in the lookout for unrelated instances.

I feel like this was more for geography sake. Basically saying “coast to coast” but using cities.

If they were going to pick cities to indicate coast to coast, I can see Portland, sort of. What happened to ‘from New to LA?’
