I really enjoyed visiting and staying at Powell River, took the ferry over to Texada Island too. In retrospect I wish I could have stayed at least one night on Texada and done some walking there.

Yes I've been to Tofino. Quite the trek from Vancouver, but still a beautiful drive.
Salt Spring Island in the Gulf Islands is one of my favourite places on the coast. If you like the Sunshine Coast, and Tofino, you will love Salt Spring.
Whale-watching, somewhere near Victoria BC, according to the boat's skipper. Anyone recognise exactly whereabouts this is? We'd sailed from Anacortes WA.
