Wide angle lens should be universally banned by every housing ad in the world.

At least they’re generally pretty obvious when used, but a skilled photographer can absolutely misrepresent a listing. The unskilled ones make it easy to tell, and it’s obviously going to be “cozy” or “cute.”

Yes this is so true. Also stagging a home for sale can also be very deceiving but is very expensive. I know people who have done it and it makes the home sound so perfect.

I bought a semi custom house online here in TN. The house was nice, but the neighborhood was like no other I had ever seen in my lifetime. Lived there 10 months and sold it.

I gather you sold it because of the location and or a bad high crime neighborhood?
TN is known for high crime rates.

In normal circumstances, selling a home in 10 months should mean taking a bath given the outsized transactional costs associated with buy/selling real estate. Count yourself lucky you were able to escape a flippant purchase choice relatively unscathed.

Isn't Hayden in North Idaho and Nampa in Southwest Idaho?

Good luck in your search. Nampa is much more affordable as well as the east side of Idaho but get too close to Boise those prices are up up and away.
