Same as the turf at LF with the rubble pellets underneath, but lasting longer than what's used at LF. Also the turf at PS can be outfitted for grass sod to be place on top for events requiring grass playing field.

I would say, looking from the construction camera, that this stadium will be ready for August next year. I wonder what construction firm is doing Uptown phase 2 project. I wouldn't think it would be the same one constructing the stadium.

Now all we need is an actual sport to play in it.

Is there any reason, for the lack of confidence in phase 2 of Uptown? I did hear that Cantina Laredo closed. Is this true?

i guess my first question, then, is... was uptown phase 2 ever an actual thing??

the only place i ever saw reference to it was in the populous master plan, where it's basically just a block labeled as "potential projects":

To my knowledge, it never got beyond this point. There hasn't been a need for it to this point. Perhaps with the construction of the stadium and more/larger events it could be justified.

I went by Protective Stadium today and the live camera does it no justice. The press box/suites is going to be bigger than I thought it was actually.

Basically Covid=19 has squelched that for now.
