It's too bad the Tribe didn't have more fight, but Houston was a tough competitor.
I'm a long-time Indians fan. But I figured that the Indians were somewhere around the 10th best team in the major leagues. Their bullpen was unreliable to say the least, and by October their starting lineup consisted of Lindor, Brantley, and that was about it. It didn't scare many pitchers.

Yeah. Same here. 42 year fan. Coming out of September I wasn’t surprised at October’s result.
Glad to hear Eddie Robinson is still around, now 97 years old. He is the last surviving Indians player from the '48 World Series. He later played on every American League team of his day, but for the Red Sox. I found a good interview he did during the 2016 series. Sorry the Tribe did not make it further this year, wanted to see them play Milwaukee. I bet the odds makers have the Astros favored to win the WS again, they are playing just as good as last year, and have the extra confidence of knowing they did it before.
I hope Eddie Robinson will help give Tommy Lasorda the inspiration to carry on, should the Dodgers falter again this year. Tommy is 91 now.
