Safety has come a long way from those days and if anything I appreciate about this generation of NASCAR is the lives that have been saved due to technology but it’s a rich man’s sport now for car owners.
I agree with you!

If anyone cares, the Clash was moved to tonight (Saturday) due to impeding weather on Sunday.

I tuned in about halfway after I noticed on X that it had been moved. Good job to NASCAR for making that decision for the safety of everyone involved.

NASCAR lost a ton of money, but gained some respect. Maybe they can learn from this to flex more races in the future instead of trying to squeeze them in before a major rain storm, only stop before halfway then have to finish the race on a Tuesday.

It rained less than an hour after the finish. In the past 24 hours, LA area has gotten between 3-6 inches of rain.

The Grammy's date was announced last year.

I was wondering why I got the NASCAR Fan Council Survey link Sunday morning. I thought that they screwed up and sent it out a day early.

At least they contacted you. I was a member of the Fan Council for 2-3 years, then all of a sudden, I was dropped....

Ill concede to the rain part of it, but they still should have known better than to try and schedule against the awards show. I tend to think the fan base they are trying to bring in to the sport were the ones who were watching the awards. I dont recall any issue with any of the speedweeks at daytona clashing with other events, including that big football game.

I am not a Swifty hater but you are right about award competition, Taylor Swift is this generations, Beatles and Elvis. The clash dates were picked so far out but 2023 has been an amazing year for a Taylor Swift as far as her popularity. Maybe she should help NASCAR out and date a driver next
