All of Ya'll...

We've had a little chatter behind the scenes about threads going off topic - probably a valid concern. I appreciate the fact that the regular Arkansas posters have struck up cyber friendships but sometimes we get way off track in threads talking to one another. If someone is looking for relocation info it can be distracting. Gotta keep in mind this is primarily a relocation forum.

The only solution I can come up with is to make a chat thread that is a sticky for things that may not be of interest to a relocator but are of interest (maybe ) to those of us that live here or have strong ties. We could just chatter away in that one thread without detracting from "real" info.

Would anyone be interested in a thread like that? Some of the other state forums have a sticky thread for discussing gardening problems, local issues, or the results of the last football game. I can set one up and just call it Arkansas Chat, or if ya'll have a great name for a thread just DM me with it and we'll throw up a poll.

The threads like this have certainly been a help for other areas I visit. Thanks Sam.

Well, I have no issues with trying to do this but keeping a bunch of Arkies from diverging from a central topic will be about as easy as herding cats.

I'll be back, have cats to herd..

Ok. For the Arkies, One item to include on the poll might be something like "Razorback Alley"? Now back to my cat herding.
