LoL, with the prices they charge for everything? No way. Everything is grossly overpriced. Not that great of an airport. Eat a good, solid meal BEFORE going there, otherwise, you will deal with really bad price gouging there. The most expensive airport I've been to in LA.
Instead of creating another thread, this would be a good one concerning airlines and their new routes.
This happened last week on a Wingo airplane departing from MedellÃn, Colombia bound for Punta Cana, DR. Scary to say the least. Shortly after the airplane had an emergency landing.
There are several airports in Bolivia with scheduled flights on major airline, but are not usable when it rains. The runways are grass strips, so to avoid wet surface runway damage, flights on large aircraft are cancelled. Two of them are at Villamontes and Rurrenebaque.
I was in 3 of Colombias major airports last month (Cartagena, Medellin, Bogota)... All of them were very nice and reasonably priced. The VIP Lounge in Bogota was out of this world
