Stopped by for a kids chicken tender meal. It was busy only 1 cashier with 2 cooks on the back. A tall male employee with a Mohawk and tattoos goes to where the cooks are working something about how he won 500 in 1 hour. He proceeds to go where guests order starts to apply lotion onto his tattoos then proceeds to put his hands thru his Mohawk. He starts to expedite the meals. Then he gets the ice scooper to get my daughters drink then puts the scooper back IN the ice bin. All the while not once washing his hands. I proceed to tell the cashier she may want to tell him he needs to wash his hands. He comes over and I told him he is visible to all the customers he may want to be aware of his actions. He then says technically I don't have to wear gloves per the health dept if I'm in the front. Technically if you touch the ice scooper you are not to put it in the ice bin because of contamination . It's not about technically it's about being aware you are in the food service industry and you are in the front line of service where everyone sees you. ALL food service employees must wash hands before returning to work. He washed then by lotions get up and dried them in his Mohawk.
