You can choose from afternoon, half-day paddles for two to three hours; full days from four to six hours; or even a two-day canoe excursion. Description: Sonoma County’s oldest golf course (dating to 1923) has been significantly renovated over the past few years. Recent additions were a three-tiered driving range and a clubhouse with some of the best views in the county. At the eastern edge of central Healdsburg, about a quarter mile from one stretch of the Russian River and a half mile from another, the course is a par 70 nine-holer. It’s also one of the best golf bargains you’ll find in the area: weekdays it’s $15 for 9 holes, $18 for 18; weekends it’s $21 and $25. Carts are $6 per person for 9 holes.
