Is it okay to use a Prius to visit, hike Canyonlands, Arches, NaturalBridges, or is it best to bring a car with more ground clearance? Prius was not a good choice in Sedona, AZ in a couple spots

Do you plan to drive off-road? You can visit those places and never get off a paved road at all, as millions do. But if you're getting off road then the obvious answer is yes, more ground clearance. It's worth noting that there are countless unpaved roads that are fine for a normal car BUT you need to know where you're going. They can be fine for miles and then abruptly deteriorate with no option to turn around. Carry a map and lots of water. Under no circumstances rely on your phone for either direction or communication. Coverage will be fine until you really need it and then you'll be hosed.

Somewhere you lost me with your question...

Why do you need to know what kind of a car do you need to go hiking?

As far as I know, "Hiking" is still done on foot?!

Connect the dots. Driving to trailheads.

I have not been hiking for a long time now (old age) but I never had any trouble getting to the starts of hiking trails with my Honda Accord.
All popular hiking trails did have a parking lot and they were always easy to get to. Hence my question...

My personal opinion... If you have doubts that a Prius may not make it to where you want to go, by all means, rent a four-wheeler!

You only mention National Parks... Not way out areas where few people go!

Of the ones I have hiked:
Arches, Bryce, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Glen Canyon and Zion, all of them had a designated parking area at all of the trailhead starts which I have visited.

I know of only one trail where you might need a four-wheeler and that is the one around the Tushar Mountains (Beaver). I never went there because of the four-wheeler requirement.

As Kletterman has stated, get a good map, lots of water and a good first aid pack. Haff Phunn.

You'll be fine without a 4-wheel-drive vehicle. You can get to all the trailheads in Utah's national parks in something like a Prius.

As others have mentioned, a Prius will get you to all the trailheads. If you want to drive something like the White Rim Trail in Canyonlands National Park, you can rent a jeep for the day in Moab. Google it.
