hi,
my girlfriend and i moving to Syracuse this september.
we r 27 years old and she is going to do her PHD in Syracuse university.

ill really appreciate if u can help and tell us what is the best location to move in syracuse. we looking for renting a place that will be near by the university ( walk distance or a short drive ) and that will be cool and fun living in and of course safe. what is the best place to live on downtown ?
do u think it will be smart to live in the suburb and study in the university ? ( how long is the driving from a good suburb ? )

how much a 2 bed room apartment suppose to cost ( rent ) ?

thank u very much

Commuting is generally a breeze in most of the Syracuse area. better school districts are Jamesville-DeWitt, Manlius-Fayetteville, West Hills and West Geneese.

There is good rental possiblities across the area. You should be o.k. just finding a nice place near the school if you prefer and apartment over a house.

Good Luck.
