Syracuse seems to be racking up these notible distinctions, i.e. quality of life, housing, jobs, etc....now Vegan! I saw this news report on YNN and thought it was kind of cool. I am not a Vegan, but I think it reflects the changing demographics and trends in Syracuse/CNY, i.e. green economy, etc. I think it will attract people to the area.
After my most recent and genuinely disappointing meal at Dino (I generally like their food, especially for take-out, but it was abysmal when I went there several weeks ago), I may be ready to switch (NOT!). That said, Strong Hearts has some good stuff on the menu. I'm curious - what are the other good choices locally for vegans? Sugar Pearl maybe.... but what else?
My cousins are vegan (from FM and went vegan in middle school but now live in Brooklyn- Pratt) and King David's has *always* been their go-to vegan place... when I enlisted my [strong, workhorse] cousin to help us move, he asked only for dinner at King David's as payment. HAHA!
