So I came to Gilbert, AZ from Massachusetts back in January. I really like the valley, but recently I had a business trip to UT and loved it. I currently rent month to month in someone's home I found from Craigslist. I have only some luggage, a new van and a mountain bike. I am completely striking out on Craigslist this time around (probably because far fewer people in STG than the Valley).

Ideas?

I'm a bit confused. Are you looking to rent a room long-term, or what? How long did you plan to stay? Just long enough to check the place out or longer than that? There are some Apartment-hotels in St. George. While I can't recommend any personally, you might want to look into these. There might also be some Airbnbs that would rent to you for even a few months at a time.

I'm happy to hear that you like Utah. I hope things work out well for you!

I think they might be looking for monthly hotels. The ones from trip advisor abover are the most expensive daily rental hotels I've seen. People usually can't afford 3250.00/mo for a place like that. I would send them to Travelocity or Booking.com. They can ask around about monthlies after they arrive.
