Hold on to your butts! It's time for Boeing to try the crewed mission again for Starliner on May 6th.

The first Starliner crew is ready to fly on May 6, the team told reporters upon arriving at the launch site. This will mark the spacecraft's debut mission with humans on board.

The two NASA astronauts to fly aboard Boeing Starliner, commander Barry "Butch" Wilmore and pilot Suni Williams, arrived at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) near Orlando, Florida today (April 25) for their historic launch. Aside from being the first humans to fly on Starliner, the astronauts (both former U.S. Navy test pilots) will also be the first people to ride on board the United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket.

Well let's hope something doesn't fall off or spring a leak.

This program has had a seemingly endless string of delays, setbacks and failures. Let's hope they really have everything right now, because lives will be on the line!

It was a rocket issue in the Atlas valve, not the Starliner for the delay. Now they are saying May 10th, Friday at 9am.

It's better that they are conservative. This mission is years late already, so another week won't make any difference. Just protect the astronauts.

Latest date is Friday May 17. They had to roll the vehicle stack back to the VIB to replace the valve.

With Space X so successful and quite possibly the ISS being retired in 2030 I would think with all the delays and problems NASA would have killed Boeing’s Starliner.

It looks like it's been delayed yet again - now moved back to (at least) May 25 due to ongoing helium leak issues. *sigh* I hope these guys know what they are doing. You couldn't pay me enough to take this ride.

Rescheduled for June 1 now.

I'll believe it when it lifts off - and safely makes it to the ISS. I wish no one harm, but if I were an astronaut, I would not be comfortable flying on Starliner.

With Boeings safety record lately, and all the issues they've had with Starliner, I say scrap the program, eat the money and toss it in a museum somewhere. Or just sink the thing so no one has to look at it again...
