" The Barrington Police Department began a criminal investigation on Friday at approximately 8:35 AM, after a juvenile called Barrington Police indicating they were at an athletic field at Barrington High School with a knife. Barrington police responded and found the juvenile alone in the athletic field adjacent to the main parking lot. The juvenile was in the back area of the field near the wooded area. "After several tense minutes, Police Officers were able to convince the juvenile to drop the knife," said police."
