Housing boom peaked mid 2022. They purchased it for 600k (not sure before the peak in mid 2022 ).

Pricing it another 25% after peak makes it over priced.

Nominal gains around 3-4% in 2023 and now into 2024 put the house price around 650-700k

This crime happened at the same time that my adult child was moving to Colorado & buying their first home, not far from this area. It was all over the news & being talked about by everyone.

As a parent, I would not be able to raise children there, no matter if the house was a screamin' bargain.
