Considering there is only one team 7-8 at this very moment....

The NFC South is arguably the WORST division (maybe the AFC South is as well) in football. Tampa is 8-8 overall, 4-1 against the NFC South. If they are in a division other than the NFC South or AFC South, they are not 4-1 right now. They would have at least 2-3 division losses heading into Week 18, which would put them at 5-6 total wins, which in either the AFC or NFC, puts them out of the playoffs.

ALL teams with 6 wins are eliminated.

Do you really think Brady is good this year? His Tampa team is 1-4 against teams with a winning record. Ouch.

Lot's of injuries on the Bucs offensive line which will screw up any offense. So the Bucs running game has sucked. Defense is good, considering time of possession. Bucs still don't belong in the playoffs, but none of this is Brady's fault.

Brady and Mike Evans have finally seemed to be on the same page and are making some magic, but it won't be enough.

Brady could pull a rabbit out of his hat and sneak by the Cowboys in the wildcard game, but after that he'll hit a brick wall.

The Bucs would need a miracle by their defense. Beating Carolina is one thing, but against a dynamic, explosive and deep offense in Dallas is one another. A very tall order. Not saying it can't be done, but it would have to be Tampa's best effort of the season. I don't think we've seen them play an outstanding game since Week 1 when they beat Dallas 19-3.

Without revisiting the details, Brady went through a lot of upheaval in his personal life this past year, and I wouldn't be surprised if that affected his focus on his work.

Here we go, more excuses for Brady. LOL. Just admit he is NOT as good as he once was.

A lot of fans were saying that Brady was washed up for some years back in New England. The average fan is too quick to criticize, IMO.

You are right. They don't take into consideration all the factors. Including Brady, there is no great QB that has ever won a championship/been successful without star talent around them. Anyone who says otherwise is incorrect. Talent is there with Brady in Tampa, they have just sluffed off this year.

Brady will make his debut as an announcer for Fox in the Cowboys-Browns Week-1 game on 8 Sept 2024.
