Does anyone know anything about a holiday Craft show in Poughkeepsie Ny in November at the Dutchess Community college? I am scheduled to do it and was just wondering how the crowds were, buying public and if this is a thriving area or depressed?

Thanks

There are a million craft shows that happen...Arlington high schools craft shows are usually pretty big..so I can imagine that DCC would be big too. As far as the area..certainly NOT depressed...growing out of control with subdivisions and stores opening up all over the place. I dont go to craft shows myself..but if its at a college..it may not be bad.

The show is a large one and covers crafts, not high end. It's a good place to get gifts. Not too crowded. Great things to do in community so worth a visit. Visit FDR or Vanderbuilt home. Raptor center is fascinating. Rhinebeck adn Woodsotck adn nearby and interesting shops and restaurants. 30 minutes is Beacon Dia which is a world class modern art museum.

The Dutchess Community College Craft fair is a wonderful craft fair! I go every year and it always has a large turn out! Some high end and some low budget priced items...something for everyone. Some vendors are there every year to draw repeat customers and some new crafters to provide some surprises! You won't be disapointed.....lots of spending going one here.
