I play just for grins and giggles, I don't know enough about this stuff to play for keepsie.

Just playing with the Zillow graphs he(she??) does seem to have a point, in theory for me but maybe for real for them.

Zillow does show my house down between 60 and 80% (the range is +60 to -20 so would that be 80??).

Please to be keeping in mind the value drop is in what supposedly it was worth at high peak (2008/09) not by any means what I actually paid. But some people may have bought at that time and for a fact they are holding the bag now.

The countryside around Jamestown is Beautiful, the maple syrup is awesome! The job market sucks the schools are among the worst in the country for paying teachers, the crime rates are way above average for NY and the whole country. When the factories went belly up due to taxes this became a cess pool, we are over run with low income drug dealers and criminals, NY city and Buffalo both ship their recent releases here, we have more rapists and pedophiles than average and those of us who stay fight every day to keep our kids safe! Forestville is nice, Frewsburg is pretty but a bit insular, Dayton and South Dayton both are nice. Western NY rocks but Jamestown is NOT a good place to move to!
