My buddy is getting married so about four of us are going to New Orleans tomorrow afternoon to hang out and drive back to Biloxi where we are staying for the weekend. Would you recommend hanging out at bars/restaurants/adult entertainment in the French Quarter primarily? If so, what are some establishments you would recommend?

This for sure. The lines are long, but definitely worth it.

You also can't go wrong with the aquarium or the WWII history museum if you're into each. Both of those should take an afternoon to see.

Have fun and be safe!

Stay together as a group when out on the streets. The WW2 museum is a great day visit. There are guided tour packages available for different areas. Some of these evening or day tours could be a good group event in place of bars. Look up places for all three meals for a local flavor experience.
