It works, Gerania. When this thread was first created in 2011, it was renamed "current country" so it wouldn't be confused with the "classic country" thread. The years were never defined but I always took it to mean anything in the mid to late 80's to now although that was my own thinking. I always used the classic country thread for years prior to the 80's but, like I said, it was never spelled out exactly. Hard to believe this thread began in 2011, though. Wow, how time flies.
I was watching an episode of Opry Live on the Circle Now channel this evening and Mark Wills was hosting a tribute show to Keith Whitley. He sang Keith's song Miami My Amy and wow, what a great version. Unfortunately, Mark never released it so it's not out there except for a cover video on YT. Had Keith lived, I have no doubt he would have had a monster career. Can't believe that next month it will be 35 years since his death.
