Good luck. I wish I was young again. I had a great time in the military especially the training and schools. I was young and single. I served with Marines in training at the Naval Aircrew Candidate School in Pensacola. We even shared the same quarters. 4 per room. Same galley, same class, same training, same instructors, same flight suite. The difference was the PT gear. They wore red pants and We wore Navy blue and the haircuts. Marines always had high 'n tights, while We could grow our hairs a little longer than them and have a small trim mustache. Marines had to shave everything on their faces.
