I have a job offer in Lexington and am looking at the areas south of town. Can someone tell me the good/bad of say Liberty, Danville, Mt Vernon? Visited those areas before but driving through for a weekend isn't the same as living there.
Why live so far away? If the job is actually in Lexington, and you don’t already live in one of those cities, I am curious why you would focus on those areas to live. There are plenty of nearer cities, if you are avoiding the actual city of Lexington.

I like living out in the sticks and found some areas where I could afford acreage. Suggestions for suburbs of Lexington would be welcome I just don't want to be in the city proper.
